Dear Parent(s),
Hello! Thank you for your interest in my playschool. Whether you are changing providers or starting daycare/preschool/date nights for the first time, I understand how important these decisions are. Finding a home that meets your child's needs and a provider you can entrust with your child can be difficult. I believe it is very important for the parents and provider to have an open and friendly relationship.
To tell you a little about myself...I have three children of my own. I began my first child care business in 2004 and went to college for child development and early childhood education. I believe in maintaining a safe, friendly environment in which children can comfortably learn and grow. We focus on having fun while learning respect, manners, and responsibility as well as early phonics, math, and science skills.
My older children are very interactive with the younger kids. They are both quite experienced with smaller children and are excellent role models. While I would never leave him alone with your child, my oldest has taken Red Cross babysitting and CPR courses annually for the last six years. My middle child looks forward to helping with activities and my youngest in joining your children in play.
I have a dog named Hoshi and two cats named Pirate and Misty. Both dogs will be kept separated from children during operational hours . Litter boxes are kept out of access to the children.
I've cared for many children over the years. I take pride in how satisfied I've been able to keep the families who have chosen me as their caregiver. An important part of maintaining that satisfaction is communication. Please feel free to come to me with questions or concerns at any time. I am available to talk via phone, email, the playschool Facebook group, and in person. Thank you for considering my home!
Mandi Nichols
